AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

A girl who has faced harassment, mental exploitation, teasing and unwanted touching in her teenage years and was bullied by boys in school and college. These painful experiences affected her deeply. Even now, she can’t forget the boys who hurt her. Whenever she thinks about the past, she feels nothing but hatred toward them. How to move on😪?

The girl has two choices before her. She can live with the trauma and nurture hate and a skewed view of life. Or she can learn from the trauma and hence do her little bit to prevent other girls from falling prey to such predators by educating and empowering them. That is the difference between those who breaks down under the stress of circumstances and those who use the adverse circumstances to grow stronger and wiser using it as a springboard towards the future. If the girl, despite understanding this is unable to make the inner shift then she should take help from someone who can understand and help. Best of course is to turn to the Divine and share everything and seek the help. But not all are blessed to have such a spontaneous faith. Hence the next best is to meet a human being qualified to help and heal.

Affectionately,
