AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

My question is, my grandfather has been seeing dead people alive in his dream for the past few days. The background is in the past 1.5 years, there have been 7 deaths among our close relatives and in his friend circle. 🪦💭😳🙏🏻🌼[…]

So, he always thinks about their sudden demise. Though he’s quite headstrong and an ardent devotee of The Mother for the last 60 years. Today, when he shared this dream with us, our family members panicked that it was not good.

Seeing dead people means that he is coming in contact with the spirit world. The people who have gone are trying to reach out to him, perhaps seeking help from him to cross over. I would advise that he should do half an hour or 45 minutes of Savitri reading every day in the evening at the time of dusk for one week, followed by prayers for those who have gone away. If he is unable or unwilling to do so, then let someone from the family do it in his presence or play the Savitri reading in his presence. That should be enough to provide them with the help needed.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Deep down, there is a longing for what the Mother has chosen for me to be revealed, and for my path of action to be connected with Sri Maa. (I know no work is small or bigger, just want to know this is for me.) 😊🙏🏻🌾

It is not easy. That is why at first one should practice the karmayoga, that means doing everything with a nishkama bhav, expecting nothing from anyone. Whatever be the work and to whomsoever it may be outwardly directed, inwardly you should consecrate it to the Mother and do it only for Her. As to outer situations and ..

I am reading Letters on Yoga for 2 hours at night; initially, I was able to build a certain amount of concentration…. But for the last two days, I can’t. Many thoughts come and distract, most of the time, X’s memories, our intimate moments and many other thoughts come and drive me away. 📖😣🦋🌻[…]

These are obviously attacks by forces that want to obstruct the gyana yagya that you have begun. Don’t pay much attention to these distractions and continue reading. Keep offering to the Mother and they will leave you.
