मिलहिं न रघुपति बिनु अनुरागा।
किएँ जोग तप ग्यान बिरागा॥
The verse is the expression of a deep psychic bhakti for his Lord, the Divine Avatara Rama. It extols bhakti, especially attachment with the Divine as the highest of all qualities needed for the Yoga (milana). One may do various yoga practices, do austerities and askesis, or attain knowledge and renunciation, yet all these means are insufficient and cannot lead to the union (with the Divine) if there is not this bhakti and love for the Lord.
Affectionately,
Alok Da
