AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Whilst playing hockey, I found myself so confused. There really was no reason for it. And it continued and I had a bad game day. Not knowing where to position myself, etc. It was bizarre. In hindsight, it felt like something that came over me to confuse. I called Mother, rejected it, and it feels lifted now. How can I protect myself against these attacks constantly? 🏑😕🦋🌾

Oh yes, that is a very real experience. Something comes between the mind and the body or simply puts a subtle blinder on the mind. What is important is to see if there was something going on in the background that didn’t let you focus. Often these background states come to the forefront during activity and thereby veil the opening to the Divine. It is helpful if one can detect this spoilsport waiting for its turn before the work starts and call peace and clear it up. A few minutes of concentration, offering one’s body and the play to Her, does the rest.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
