AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

Is it safe for a practitioner of Integral Yoga to explore other occult systems like Reiki, Pranic Healing, or Vipassana to prepare inwardly, or do these practices risk becoming distractions on the Path?πŸ™‚πŸ™πŸ»πŸŒ»πŸ§˜πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈπŸ˜‡πŸŒ€

As a Mother’s child, I have been practicing Integral Yoga for many years. But I also have an interest in learning other occult practices such as Reiki, Pranic Healing, Hypnosis, Vipassana, and some purification processes, as mentioned in Jainism, just to prepare myself inwardly and also have the experience of the inner realm. Kindly share your thoughts.

There is no taboo in learning these different forms of knowledge systems as long as one knows that these are at best passing supports or gleams on the way. At worst, they can be distractions and carry the human soul into an intermediate zone of mixed and diabolic experiences.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
