AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

At the beginning of yoga, the impurities within each person come out and life becomes chaotic. I request you to tell me what problems and difficulties arise in the person’s life due to this. If a person has latent  anger within  him but does not express it, but due to practicing yoga, they start expressing  it on people, is it possible for this to happen? How should this situation be dealt with and should be done to avoid suffering and problems when the impurities come out at the beginning of yoga? Is chanting the names of hare Krishna and hare Rama yoga?🧗🌀🏜️ 🔗

Yes it can and does usually happen that the impurities kept under cover as a result of the pressure of the Yoga. They have to be dealt with detachment and offering to the Divine Mother with a will to purification. One should also grow conscious of the deeper inner causes that opens the doors to the entry of forces of lust, anger etc, generally due to some frustration of expectations and desires. Then these too must be addressed and offered rather than justified. At the same time one should keep calling peace and equanimity which, if once established, act as strong cushions against these forces.

It is important to keep faith and confidence in the Grace and endure the process of purification, persevering rather than giving up through the lapses and the falterings. Victory comes to the most persevering.

Japa of the Divine Name,  whatever name you can connect from your heart certainly helps but a change of inner psychological attitudes must go hand in hand for success.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
