AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

At what point does one know that one has attained perfection and mastery in the goal and needs to stop? Is it a forever moving goal in itself? Because one has to stop somewhere otherwise there will be confusion.πŸš€πŸŽ―πŸ§πŸ›£οΈ

There cannot be a fullstop in the Manifestation since it is not static and everything is ever in perpetual movement. Each element can have a limited mastery and perfection within its limits, for example the perfection of a plant life, the perfection of an ant, the perfection of an animal. But the moment we come to humans, the possibility of endless evolution, of endless possibility opens us due to the mind and the spiritual regions. As the consciousness grows, first under the mind, next under the influence of the spiritual realms, the possibility of mastery and perfection will also grow. Even if one touches the heights of the Overmind, there would be a horizontal expansion into the full cosmic consciousness which means one begins to take all lives as one’s own opening new vistas of mastery and perfection as new elements are added to what we thought is  ‘ourself’. That is why Sri Krishna says in the Gita that though there is nothing that I need to gain yet I continue to act else these worlds will go to perdition otherwise. He acts for lokasangrahartha. A limited individual perfection is an illusion of the ego that believes itself separate and alone while under the spell of Ignorance. But when the spell is broken it enters the unity of Being and Becoming.

Yes what is possible is that not the whole of mankind is destined to arrive at this state. Beyond a point humanity will fall back into a settled type like the animal, beautiful and harmonious and perfect, divine in its own limited way. It is somewhat like the mundane, moral and religous mastery and perfection at which many human beings stop for a particular life. They believe they have reached some point of mastery and perfection but then human beings are pushed by the evolutionary pressure through the mechanism of rebirth towards higher levels that break the old perfection and build a new one.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Jay Maa, I have been reading Savitri for last few years, recently I heard that people also write passages from Savitri daily as a part of their Sadhana. Can you please explain about how it has different effect than reading Savitri?πŸ“œπŸ€πŸ•ŠοΈβ˜€οΈ
