AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Two days ago, I had a Dream in the morning (3:00 to 5:00 AM) in which I saw that I had started to consume a high amount of alcohol and many times my big brother said that: ‘Don’t do this. This is not a good thing for you and your soul.’ 💭🍷☠️⚱️[…]

After that, I saw that I was lying in the hands of my brother in a highly drunk condition, and I died after some time, but we cannot talk a single word about this incident that happened. At the time of death, I am filled with guilt, that’s why I disobeyed his advice and did this. After my death, I saw that my brother was so sad and continued crying. I don’t know why. And the impact of this dream is so high. It remind every day.

The elder brother is the conscience, alcohol is the delusion that pushes us towards a life of carnal pleasures, unscrupulous money, etc. The dream is an indication of the path you should take and the choices to be made in some nearby future.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

As a starter it is harmful to involve students in politics. It is as good as destroying their future. But almost all the political parties do it. Student movements almost always get hijacked by political parties with vested interests and backed by funds and forces whose purpose is very different from what is proclaimed. These forces, – …

The truth of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother is that they are human representation of Ishwara and Shakti. Shakti is also known simetimes known as Paraprakriti or the higher Divine Supernature.

Prakriti generally refers to the lower formulation of the Higher Divine Nature. Prakriti as it operates here…

Wanted to understand what the last line would mean: “there is a determinism, but externally.” If you could shed some light on this. Sharing the lines below: 📖😊🙏🏻🌼[…]

It means that freedom and fate walk together always. There is on the one side the determinisms or the chain of cause and effect that we have created due to the energies and action of our mind, heart, will and actions labouring in ignorance. Their effects continues to haunt us under the pressure of habit and past momentum…
