AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

Can past karmas be one of the factors responsible for lifelong mental illness and considerable mental suffering😥?

Past karma is always there behind everything but not as a reward and punishment but as a constant learning process. So instead of pondering over the past karma which doesn’t help much either in our understanding of the issue or in managing it, we should focus on what we can learn from the illness, rectify the inner movements that create an inner imbalance in the mind and body, go through whatever outer form of therapy may be needed as a support and finally offer it all to the Mother at every step. This after all is the theory of karma if we go to its bottom. If our past has created our present, then our present actions, attitudes etc. Purusartha can modify it too as well pave the way to a better future. What has happened has happened. It is no more in our hands. But what is yet to happen is to an extent in our hands. That shroud be our focus.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
