AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Can you please suggest some books or writings where we can learn how the Mother approached her day-to-day work and handled different situations – for example, how she spearheaded, guided, and saw through the Auroville project from scratch?🪷♾️📜✍️

I would like to understand her way of leadership, execution, and dealing with challenges, insights that can be applied to any organization or project.

Yes you can get some glimpse of it in glimpses of the Mother’s life through a couple of issues of All India Magazine, a book by the same name by Nilima di, and Chronicles by Sujata Nahar.

Impersonally you can find the important Sutras in Sri Aurobindo’s The Mother with letters on The Mother, in Her writings on the Ashram and Auroville in CWM volume 13.

Affectionatley,

Alok Da

It is wonderful that you are able to see the falsehood behind this kind of vital love of praise which is indeed a kind of falsehood. Yes it is everywhere and it takes a great degree of sincerity to be able to detect it. But now that by the effect of the Grace you are able to discern it, you must try to live only to please the Divine and that means …
