AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Dear Alok da, For the last 2 months I have been having dreams of Siddha Yoga Sadhaks and the dreams are symbolic like a Sadhak is giving orders to someone like a king, someone who shows more emotions from outside but from inside bows down to the Guru as a formality! How should these dreams be understood? ๐Ÿ’ญ๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป […]

And should we discuss about the Sadhaks and see what is it in them due to which progress is not happening and connect them with ourselves that whether I am like this and I have to take care of all this, is this kind of attitude towards the Sadhaks wrong in this Yoga?

Yes, it is never helpful to see the real or unreal defects of anyone, let alone sadhaks. Human nature is too complex and each one has their own unique difficulties. By noticing the defects we only end up strengthening them. Besides, very often we carry within us, in a different field and measure, the defect we carry hidden within us. We should leave it to the All-wise Divine Guide to deal with each one and their difficulties in His own way. Our concern should be with our difficulties and here too, instead of giving them too much importance, we should look towards the Divine Grace that has undertaken this tremendous work of transformation and can alone accomplish it.ย

Affectionately,

Alok Da

My niece is in Class-9th. She is facing some problems in her class. Students ignore her in the class. She is good at studies. They say she has an attitude. She says that she feels alone in the class, especially during recess. ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿค๐ŸŒผ[…]

Children who are either above or below the average face this isolation in the class. It is more so if the child is inwardly more developed as your niece is. Instead of trying to change to find friends she should learn to accept herself as she is and wait till she discovers someone who shares her tastes and temperament. She will find a few …

My mother daily recites the Hanuman Chalisa (11 times), Durga Chalisa, and Siddha Kunjika Stotram. She learned these practices from an astrologer’s podcast, which also recommended keeping water nearby during the Hanuman Chalisa and later drinking it as prasad. ๐Ÿ“ฟ๐Ÿช”๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป […]

I often encourage her to keep her worship simple and inwardly focused, but much of it seems mechanical and mixed with a fear that the devas may become displeased if certain rituals are omitted….
