The Divine does not work arbitrarily in a vacuum. The will of the people and their free choice is an important aspect of the Divine Play. During independence people had invested their faith in Gandhi and Nehru (they still do) rather than in the Divine, or in Sri Aurobindo and Sri Krishna. This wrong will must change first. That is what is gradually happening today.
