AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Dream 1: I noticed that there was an amulet around my neck which was wrapped in a red cloth and seeing this I wondered where did this come from, then someone says that your mother got it done by some deity, then I am walking on some road and there is a man with me whom I do not know, ๐Ÿ“œโ™พ๏ธ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

then I take it off and open it, in it there were two notes of 500 rupees each, one of 50 rupees, one of 20 rupees and one of some black thing and I throw away the rest but keep the money. Then I tell that man that I should keep the money, it will be useful for travelling, then he says that we should not keep any amulet, then I think what should I do, there is a conflict going on in my mind, then it comes to my mind that I will use it in the service of God and I put the money in my pocket.

Dream 2: Me and my aunt are in a house, then my aunt comes out and there are some people sitting there (who do not have homes, who camp at different places) aunt goes and asks them for something to eat, then they refuse and say to take it after a day, then I get excited and I go and stand on a wall, there are many people sitting on the other side, I give them a speech with a lot of enthusiasm and a fighting spirit awakens in them and the fight starts, I run inside the house and now my friend’s sister is with me and we go to the room and there is another girl there, we are afraid that those people will come and attack us, then I go outside and see. Then I see broken glass, then I come back to the room and start climbing the wall of the room, then after a while I take my friend’s sister and ask her to go up to the terrace and the girl refuses, then we go to the terrace, hiding so that no one sees us, then I see that above it turns into my colony, I quietly move forward towards the wall and say don’t go up, then I see that my two cousins and father are seen very far below, and I hide from them so that they don’t see us.

Both the dreams indicate that there is possibly some kind of adverse influence in the family, an opening to forces of the vital world that are trying to lure, control and attack you. But the Grace is protecting you and hence the right knowledge and the right help comes and the right action is taken and no harm comes.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

The CJP protest has helped me understand what I should NOT do/be as a Bharatiya. I was having a serious conversation with myself, thinking and talking aloud, about Geopolitics. I was asking myself how I recognise the people who support the ‘leftist’ narrative. ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ […]

There is no need to delve into knowledge of geo-politics? It is one profession among many. No one is expected to learn about every profession, isn’t it? What one must know is about the nation and the people where one lives, their roots, thought, attitudes, especially something about the culture, the deepest tendencies, the highest …

That is why Sri Aurobindo and The Mother speak of a higher and lower Perfection. The higher Perfection refers to the soul’s Perfection, the spiritual growth from a state of Ignorance to a state of Truth and Vastness. Dear Sir, why is that the ego anti-divine? Why does it is not naturally surrenders to the divine? Why is there division and a distance from the divine? Why does it have to die ultimately for the complete spiritualization? ๐Ÿชž๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

Ego is neither Divine nor anti-Divine. It is a part of human nature whose purpose is to create the sense of individuality. Individuality is a necessary element in human evolution. Its purpose is to create the sense of freewill, within certain limits of course. Freewill in this context simply means that the individual must chose from a number of forces impacting upon the person. The choices may be aligned to our deeper truth, swabhava and swadharma, …
