Everybody deserves to not be rich or they cannot be rich?

Asked by 12 year old

Everybody deserves to be have enough money to be able to take care of their needs and lead a reasonably comfortable life. This does not happen because of two reasons.

  1. Most people are selfish and do not want to share what they have. The greed of few leaves holes for others.
  2. Not all are meant to be rich. Or we can say that there are different kinds of wealth such as intelligence, compassion, love, peace, strength, endurance, courage, faith. Everyone gets their share in life but very few realise it and use it well. Most remain busy trying to get something that they do not have because they see others have it. In the process they neglect what they have and since they do not value it, they tend to lose it.

Affectionately,

Alok da.

All the inner things that I am giving you all the time, all the strength, light, energy and life that are being poured into you all the time, are meant for the service of the Divine, for the sake of transforming you. If you use them for any other purpose, you are a robber and your crime is the worst possible.” ~ The Mother (CWM 13:183)

It means that all the capacities that we have, – physical, vital, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, should be offered at the Feet of the Divine for His Work and Service. Most of the time however we take these capacities to be …
