AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

First I had a type of belief system like nothing wrong can happen to me because Maa is with me, now it’s like anything can happen to me, but I believe Maa is with me and about fear I have fear like fear for maintaining position in class, fear like what others will think about me in each steps, fear like fear to indulge in a conflict or the recent issues, fear like what if I died living an ordinary life. ☺️🌼🚶🏼‍♂️🦋[…]

The funny thing is that I just became a shameless person before entering the class. If, for any reason, the teacher says you are a donkey, yes, sir, I am; but now kindly teach me or correct me.

I don’t know why you switched from nothing can happen to everything can happen. Surely the Divine Grace protects; else this world would have been destroyed 10 times over by human beings. Of course, the Divine Grace does not boast about how much and how many times it has saved and helped every creature, regardless of whether they believe in the Grace or not. But the action of Grace does not mean that it will make our life easy and comfortable, take away all the challenges needed for our growth and progress. If we understand this subtle but important difference, then we shall actually see the working of the Divine Grace much more often. And yet the Divine Grace will always exceed all that we can ever conceive or imagine about it.

As to what people say, it is generally best to ignore it. Human beings are experts in displaying their ignorance. However, if there is someone whom one trusts as having some wisdom and love, then one should pay attention and be keen to learn from him and progress with the criticism, if any. This is what I would suggest to you for now.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

I have a question: is it bad if one of my goals is to earn money? I want to do so because I don’t have to rely on anybody else, and I can do things I would want to do and do my Bhakti and Yoga, and no one could stop me just because I don’t have enough money to take care of myself and my family. I would not want a lot of money, just enough to live comfortably and also help others with that. 💰😊🙏🏻🌼

There is nothing wrong in earning money. On the contrary it is much better to earn money through one’s own efforts than rely on someone else for it. But money cannot be a goal. It is simply a means to buy certain outer comforts. It can also be used to make the outer life more beautiful and even to help the Divine Work. The lowest …

I was in the middle of a dream where I heard a voice saying, “Wrap the blanket properly up to the soles of your feet.” Hearing that voice, I suddenly woke up. Right in front of my bed, a photo of Mata ji was placed. As soon as I woke up, I felt as if a crying sound was coming from the photo and the entire photo was shaking. Why did this happen? 🖼️😶‍🌫️🌸🦋[…]

These images generally arise from the subconscient. There might be some forces at play trying to create mischief. It is difficult to say where these forces came from or what opened the doors. The Mother certainly does not cry. The seeing of tears and the sound …
