AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

For the last 2 months, I have been having dreams of accomplished yoga practitioners and the dreams are symbolic like a practitioner is giving orders to someone like a king- someone who shows more emotions from outside but, on the inside, bows down to the Guru as a formality! ๐Ÿ’ญ๐Ÿค”๐ŸŒป[…]

How should these dreams be understood? And should we discuss about the practitioners and see what is it in them due to which progress is not happening and relate them to ourselves- whether I am like this and I have to take care of all this; is this kind of attitude towards practitioners wrong in this yoga?

Yes it is never helpful to see the real or unreal defects of anyone, let alone sadhaks. Human nature is too complex and each one has their own unique difficulties. By noticing the defects, we only end up strengthening them. Besides, very often we carry within us, in a different field and measure, the defect we carry hidden within us. We should leave it to the All-wise Divine Guide to deal with each one and their difficulties in His own way. Our concern should be with our difficulties and here too, instead of giving them too much importance, we should look towards the Divine Grace that has undertaken this tremendous work of transformation and can alone accomplish it.ย

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Dada, I am unable to fully grasp this. On one hand, you believe that and I will be together in the future; yet, based on my dream, you suggest that if I desire to be with her, it goes against God’s will and would lead me away from my true destiny. ๐ŸŒ„๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐ŸŒธ[…]

All restlessness, impatience, over eagerness of desires are clearly going in one direction whereas love and service of the Divine in quite another. One doesn’t rely on dreams to decide these things. Dreams easily lie as the mind can easily create desirable images. I am surprised that still you are unable to see the consequences of this love.
