Passive means not using one’s will, not making the choices and letting things happen whatever way they are happening and giving it the name of surrender. True Surrender is a dynamic process of giving oneself to the Divine and not to any and all kinds of forces.ย
Detachment does not mean staying away from people and objects. It is primarily an inner state wherein one does not engage with anything or anyone on the basis of the ego or to satisfy the desires. One does an action not with an eye on fruits and benefits, even though one does it well and to perfection. One acts only to fulfil the Divine Will in oneself and in the world.ย
