Probably there is a need to find goals that can engage you fully and activities that can make you happy. When we get deficient in happiness or feel lonely then eating habits takes the first toll. Stay busy, do lot of exercises, drink lot of water and keep handy something innocuous to munch when the urge to eat arises.
Rest is a question of will power that needs to be steadily built up like muscles by delaying the urge to order food. As to the sweet tooth, take in very small bites savouring it for long in the mouth rather than rushing through the eating process.
However do also get your blood sugar and Thyroid functions tested.
