AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

How can someone be Sincere? What exactly does it mean to be sincere? Please elaborate with the Grace of the Divine Lord Sri Aurobindo and The Mother. Jai Sri Maa.🙏🏻✨

Sincerity means to be transparent before the Divine, not to hide or cover anything from the Divine. It also means to be open to the Divine Influence alone and not to all kinds of suggestions and impulses. At its highest it means organising one’s entire life around the Divine.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Self respect is one of the forms of the ego. It could be a sattwic or a rajo-sattwic ego but an ego reaction nonetheless. The soul never feels insulted or has any need to defend its respect. One who lives for the Divine is not affected by human opinions. The only thing that matters is closeness to the Divine. The insults and opinions …
