AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I am really sorry Alokda. My tone was really very harsh. It was out of disillusionment. Let me explain you the background of it.

I did not see this “Askaloda” initiative as a general question-answer or knowledge-sharing or promotion of any specific knowledge stream. For me it was an enterprise formed by a man having vast knowledge and emotions who understand genuine problems & hurdles faced by common population and want to help , even handhold them when needed like a father do in navigating them through this ocean of worldly existence.

However, In last few days many questions and even the responses were quite mechanical, rigid, bookish and lacking emotions. At least that’s what I thought. The same case in question has happened few years ago in my own family where her husband and 2 children suffered a lot on such a trivial issue.

Any person having little depth can see that today’s time is of great turmoil as mother nature is looks to be on the mission of establishing new order by destroying old one which may have been outdated but the man like you can help us in going through this phase with minimum damage. My apologies once again.

There is no need for apology. I understand your feelings. Askalokda has indeed been with a view to help, in whatever limited way, especially the young seekers. Though I do address persons in distress, it is difficult to take the responsibility of handholding, though I wish I could. It is just that being too stretched out, practically from morning 7 till night 10 in various different activities, does not allow more bandwidth right now.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Perhaps he is referring to the passages below. Let us read it closely. ‘Lala Lajpat Rai struck a higher note, that of Hindu nationalism as a necessary preliminary to a greater Indian Nationality. We distrust this ideal. Not that we are blind to facts,—not that we do not recognise Hindu-Mahomedan rivalry as a legacy of the past enhanced and not
