AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I feel blessed people have luxuries and riches in life😡?

Who knows it can be the other way round as more the luxuries one has, the more one tends to become lazy and be enslaved to comforts, then it is very difficult for him to progress. The Mother shares a part of the bible, “yes it true that its easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than a rich man to turn to God.” But yes when the rich man does turn to God it would be very beautiful as this brings greater possibilities with regard to help in the Divine Manifestation. But having riches and luxuries is by itself no sign of being specially blessed by God.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Dada, I love reading discourses with disciples; how did some of them go away? To even share a glance with them is a Grace. To know about them is itself a Grace; then why does one get separated or distant? I get scared sometimes: what if my foolishness in dealing with my vices takes me far from them… ☹️🙏🏻🌼🪷

Faith is the starting point of any journey. When one says that one must question everything doesn’t it imply faith in one’s ability to find the answer to everything? Doesn’t it also imply faith in the ability of the human mind to find the answer through the use of the sceptical intellect? Faith is the starting point of every journey. Its end is knowledge. …

Q1. Is human suffering viewed by the Divine as ultimately illusionary and mainly evolutionary or corrective in nature? The mind, life, and body seem to suffer, while the psychic being assimilates experience for growth — as in Savitri, where the soul “drinks experience like a strengthening wine.” Is this broadly correct? 😊🙏🏻🌼🍂

Yes in a way. But that does not mean that the Divine is indifferent to our suffering. He knows it, knows its true cause and is offering the real cure. It is like a physician who empathises even when he gives a…
