Sexual urge is very strong at your age, – in fact, at all ages, since it is deeply rooted in the body’s biology. At your age, you should try to practice sanyama, moderation and sattwic regulation, rather than nigraha, abstinence. Also too much focusing and fighting with sexuality is not the way. One should stay busy, do a lot of physical exercises and use one’s time for creative activities. Most important is that one should not turn this into a grim struggle with guilt, etc. That makes the struggle more fierce and turns the whole thing into a self-defeating cycle.Β
This is what I would advise you for now, especially a lot of vigorous physical exercises, so that you are reasonably tired and sleepy at night when these forces are most active. Also, keep yourself busy and avoid boredom, so that the doors to all kinds of distractions.
