AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I have been reading the books of the Mother for quite some time now, but I still find it challenging to apply her teachings in my daily life. I also continue to feel nervous when speaking in front of people, often finding myself trapped in the web of nervousness. I’m deeply disappointed that, despite all my efforts and reading, I haven’t been able to bring even the slightest change to my nature😥.

Changing human nature is never an easy task. One has to be patient and persevering. There is however a secret and it is not to focus too much on what you do not want to be but instead to concentrate upon what you want to be. Instead of trying to get rid of nervousness wh8ch is possibly due to hypersensitivity, you should focus on cultivating peace, calm, strength and equanimity. With sustained practice especially relying upon the Mother’s Grace with trust and confidence everything will become possible that now seems far and difficult.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
