These kinds of visions are generally experienced in altered states of consciousness, during which the usual barriers of the senses and the physical mind are removed and one comes into contact with beings and forces of other worlds. The Yogi enters the superconscious realms above the mind and men like Hitler get in touch with forces of dark and fallen worlds, some of whom assume the image of heavenly beings to deceive the unripe mystic or those of a crude sentimental nature who become easy mediums.
