AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I think I’m emotionally dependent and scared of being alone. I still don’t fully understand what the future will look like — whether my family will move, whether Mom will be emotionally stable and how everything will unfold. When I see other families together and doing fine financially, it makes me restless about both of them. I feel afraid because I don’t know what they’ve decided, and I don’t know if the coming years will be okay for all of us😰💸🧾

As I mentioned earlier, I would probably not panic if I was sure this was a thoughtful decision, but clearly it is not. Both of them tend to make impulsive decisions most of the times. Hence the worry.

I understand your worries. Human beings worry because they want the future to be shaped in a certain way. They try to foresee and plan the future according to their ideas and wishes. But what they refuse to see and understand is that there is a higher Power, a greater Wisdom that oversees these things. Sometimes the actions of this Wisdom seems to as if fulfil our wishes and sometimes (often) it does not seem to bend to our caprice. Even when our plans are fulfilled outwardly yet what we were looking for through it, what we were wanting, goes missing. People take up a job, earn money, get married, buy a car, raise a kid, thinking that it will eventually make them happy. But does it? We really don’t know what will really make us secure and happy. That is why the wise who have deeply reflected upon this subject ask us to do our best but leave the rest in the hands of the supreme Wisdom of God with faith in His Grace. This faith and surrender to the Divine Will is the royal road to Peace, happiness and all the security that we need. Those who can take this leap of faith and surrender themselves to the Divine are freed from all fears and anxieties. Those who cannot remain in doubts and fears even when everything is fine around them.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Sir, how do we make sense of Trump’s U-turn on Iran? What would a powerful and globally accepted Iran mean for the emerging global order? And was this conflict triggered by a gross miscalculation and Trump’s petty ego? If so, what is likely to stop him from using his power to subordinate less powerful nations, leading to greater global disharmony? 🥸🗺️📌🌄

Trump’s U turn on Iran is clearly a reality check. But certainly the capabilities of Iran has been crippled, even seriously crippled. Iran has to change and this change will be good for the people of Iran, for the Middle East where the pressure for the change is goung to increase. The change is needed for the good of the World as well. ..

Dear Sir, Namaste. In one of your talks, you mentioned that the Mother said that “sometimes it is good to concede to the adverse forces” and then you mentioned its similarity with Judo practice. Please explain this, I did not understand. 🥋🙂🙏🏻🌼🦋

It means that sometimes we enter into unnecessary battles within ourselves on small issues and it is this that the adverse forces use to keep pressing upon and creating a storm in a teacup. Instead we should focus more on the…
