AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I wonder: How is the soul after death? Can the soul move? in every realms of the worlds beyond and the world here or is it – without any free will – torn and moved around by fear, karma etc. as it states the Tibetan Book of the Death. e.g.? So if I die now here in Europe would it for example be possible for my soul to travel, to fly to the samadhi in Puducherry?๐Ÿง˜โœจ๐Ÿชท๐Ÿ—๏ธโค๏ธ

Whether here upon earth or in the realms beyond the soul remains bound to the sheaths or shroud of Ignorance in which it is wrapped. These sheaths are the physical body, the vital and the mental bodies. Though the physical body is shed here, the soul is carried in these subtle sheaths. These sheaths may be constituted of good and happy vibrations in which case it is drawn and attracted towards happier worlds. Or if these sheaths carry the impact of darkness then the journey is a rough and bumpy ride. But this is for a few weeks after which the soul sheds these sheaths and is then escorted to the its native divine home. There it rests awhile, assimilates its earthly experiences and prepares the road map for the future.

This of course is the general rule. There are many variations though especially in the length of time and the degree of darkness and brightness through which it may move based on its actions or rather the motives and states of consciousness that it nurtured and the quality of inner life it built.

The Mother, during her sojourn in Algeria built a safer and easier passage through which those who have faith of some kind in the Divine (in any form) can pass through smoothly. I suppose this is the experience that many going through Near Death describe. But for those who have faith in Sri Aurobindo and the Mother or are connected to them through their teachings or stay in inner remembrance come straight to Sri Aurobindoโ€™s place in the subtle physical which She has described number of times and others have experienced.

As far as you are concerned you will be completely escorted by Her angels and reach safely in Her lap.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

There is no need to delve into knowledge of geo-politics? It is one profession among many. No one is expected to learn about every profession, isn’t it? What one must know is about the nation and the people where one lives, their roots, thought, attitudes, especially something about the culture, the deepest tendencies, the highest …

The Mother explained that in old age, though consciousness remains intact, the physical instrument may falter like a piano with missing strings, limiting its outward expression. That is why Sri Aurobindo and The Mother speak of a higher and lower Perfection. The higher Perfection refers to the soul’s Perfection, the spiritual growth from a state of Ignorance to a state of Truth and Vastness. The lower Perfection is the Perfection of the instrumental nature, of the mind, heart, life and body, to develop them through …

Dear Sir, why is that the ego anti-divine? Why does it is not naturally surrenders to the divine? Why is there division and a distance from the divine? Why does it have to die ultimately for the complete spiritualization? ๐Ÿชž๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

Ego is neither Divine nor anti-Divine. It is a part of human nature whose purpose is to create the sense of individuality. Individuality is a necessary element in human evolution. Its purpose is to create the sense of freewill, within certain limits of course. Freewill in this context simply means that the individual must chose from a number of forces impacting upon the person. The choices may be aligned to our deeper truth, swabhava and swadharma, …
