AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I’m soon going to get married. How to practice Integral Yoga as a married man? Is it going to be difficult? What if she doesn’t support my sadhana? What should I do?๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿ‘ซ๐Ÿ›ฃ๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ

There is no fundamental difference in the practice of Integral Yoga for a married or unmarried person. The problem is that certain aspects of Yoga become difficult to practice if the husband and wife are not on the same page due to difference of goals. Besides the need of attention to the partner, the absorbing interest in maintaining the framework of life and keeping up the social relationships, especially when one has a child leaves little energy for any higher pursuit. It does complicate life but then it is a question of destiny and the different needs of different individuals. There are no standard formats in life or in sadhana which takes place in real time.

However ultimately nothing can stand in the way before a growing aspiration for the Divine. Those who are marked for the spiritual life will do it anywhere and under any circumstances. Those who do not have a central sincerity will find it difficult even if they were alone or living in an Ashram.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

My Brother, The Forms you had created for our safety have been dissolved by me. I don’t know whether you told me to do so or I took it wrongly for any specific reason or not. How will those forms be recreated, or will we get a better option? Please do something; we are in pain and suffering. ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿชทโค๏ธโ€๐Ÿฉน
