AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

In one of your writings, ‘When all the outer doors of help and all our advancements seem to be closed upon us, it is time to look towards the door which was always open.’ So, if one door is closed before us, how can we find the other door, which the Divine has opened for us?🔑🚪✨🤍

The door that is always open is the Divine Mother’s door. But we keep looking towards this or that person, this or that outer opportunity, this or that object of desire, this or that toy. But when the toy is taken away or broken, the child cries and turns to the Divine Mother. Unfortunately he cries only for another temporary toy. If instead he cried for the Divine Mother then he doesn’t have to worry anymore.

First thing is to stop crying and complaining about the closed door. People waste so much time and energy fretting and fuming and kicking the door. Instead they should learn to be quiet, have faith and pray to the Divine. Opportunities will come. When they come one should take it with trust and confidence in the Grace rather than end up in the mesh of calculations and self-doubts.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
