There is no such rule. The only rule is that if one needs a physical guru then the guru appears. It is not something that the mind decides. It is the Divine who sends you the Master depending upon our inner need. It is the Master who choses and draws near rather than the other way round.

Satyam is Truth, the stable basis, the unchanging core of everything.
Ritam is the dynamic arrangement of this Truth in terms of Time, Space and Causality.
