AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Is Sadhana performed by the seeker or by the Divine Mother? ❤️‍🔥😊🙏🏻🌼

Sadhana is done by the Divine, but the human has to collaborate in the Divine Working. Without this collaboration, nothing can happen. That is why sadhana is done by human beings and not by stones. Human beings have to consciously aspire, reject, surrender, grow sincere and cultivate faith. These and other practices, such as Remembrance of the Mother, open us and make us receptive to Her working.

(Follow-up Question:)

If one were to say that sādhana begins in the mother’s womb—or from birth—would that be incorrect? This is being asked due to a lack of knowledge.

Sadhana is a conscious process. A child in the womb is generally not conscious. It takes time to consciously aspire. That is when sadhana begins.

But yes, a subconscious sadhana and preparation goes on through various experiences of life, including the womb and even previous lives. But that is a subconscious yoga and not conscious sadhana.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Yes Sri Krishna spoke of liberation through action. Before his advent, action was regarded as bondage and meditation and worship the only means to liberation. But what kind of action? Sri Krishna said any action, sarvakarmani, done with the right inner attitude of consecration to the Divine would serve as a door to liberation. ..
