AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

My sister has OCD. I want to get her treated by yogic methods instead of modern psychiatry, but she isn’t spirituality inclined. How to treat this disorder😥?

It is difficult to say anything definitively because each one is different. One can always combine spiritual methods and take the help of modern medicine as well. The medicines used for OCD are quite safe. Along with that one can take the help of certain forms of cognitive behavior therapies. Spiritually, the practice of witnessing, silent Japa, opening to the Divine Grace through faith and prayer can all be practiced simultaneously. Sending my prayers for her well-being.

Affectioantely,
