AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

One day I dreamt that I was with a friend from university on beach and suddenly big waves come and she gets hurt and I am also there and we weren’t scared just I look at water and see that a Tsunami like wave is coming. Then I had woken up.πŸ˜΄πŸ’€πŸŒ’πŸ’

Then again today, I saw I was in a building and suddenly golden molten lava comes and she my roomate and I are together..she says come to my room it’s still better then she says we should run, Then running ,we came to the beach and again the big waves like tsunami come from ocean and I just give up and let the waves carry me and my thought was they are taking me to divine and I feel like I felt the fear for real then

Then suddenly the waves go and now muddy water started coming from inland to sea and again I am caught in a wave for a millisecond before there is a block somewhere ere at the point of flood outlet and water stops coming together but seeps slowly on the floor slowly. Then I meet my friend again and I woke up.

The tsunami waves from ocean are the world forces that are trying to drift you away. They are possibly attracted by your friends who are close to you or near you. You should be careful of the company you keep.

The golden molten lava are forces of the New Creation but again your friend fills doubt and fear and you are trying to stay safe from the very thing that will save you.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Is drinking small quantities of alcohol really that bad? Most people I know consume alcohol in some measure. I noticed that the ones who quit it completely face backlash from Society. For example, I heard business people say that you can’t trust a person who doesn’t drink. πŸ₯‚πŸ’¬πŸΈπŸŽΆ[…]

It is not a question of good or bad from a moral point of view. But drinking alcohol is certainly harmful for the physical, as well as psychological and I would even say spiritual health. The list of physical problems is too long and generally too well known to elucidate. …

Dada, there is a professor at IISC who is a sadhaka in the sampradaya of Madhvacharya, and he says that, according to him, the way to find your Swadharma is to do what you can persistently despite failure. I want to ask, is this a good way of practically knowing, or is it too reductionist? And according to you, what can be the best practical way for a young child?πŸ§’πŸ“šβœ¨πŸŒ±

That is one way of looking at it. But a slightly negative and outer way of looking at it. There are plenty of things we do which do not involve success or failure. We do it because we find a natural joy in it. This spontaneous joy …

Probably 4-5 years ago, I had read a book named ‘Immortal Talks’ by an author named Shunya. Last time I checked, the author hadn’t revealed their identity. So the book is about Hanuman and how He imparts the ultimate knowledge to this particular tribe of people every 40 years and the story revolves around it. You can call its genre fiction. As I read that, I felt such a deep connection with Hanuman. πŸ“–πŸΉπŸ›•πŸŒ„πŸŒ»[…]

It is not a dream but a real contact with the ever living legendary Hanuman who continues to help the simple hearted devotees upon earth to turn towards dharma.Β
