It is not easy. That is why at first one should practice the karmayoga, that means doing everything with a nishkama bhav, expecting nothing from anyone. Whatever be the work and to whomsoever it may be outwardly directed, inwardly you should consecrate it to the Mother and do it only for Her. As to outer situations and circumstances, practice equanimity and surrender rather than personal preferences. The sign of progress will be an inner peace and joy in all you do.
This can be done anywhere and does not need one to be in the Ashram. In fact, one may live in the Ashram and yet not engage in karmayoga in the true sense. But yes, the very fact of living here gives a certain advantage, as there is no money or position involved and one lives in a modest room provided by the Ashram and takes the food given in the Dining Room. This itself gives a wonderful training to get rid of preferences and likes-dislikes. But living in the Ashram is not indispensable for the Yoga, at least not till the process of working on the physical change begins. Even after that it could be done anywhere, though it is safer if one is here.
As to the exact work that The Mother has willed for you, one has to wait. When the time comes and you are ready, She will find ways and means to give it to you. Until then, do all you do in the spirit of consecration to Her, in a state of inner Remembrance and, with the nishkama bhav.
2) Will there be any currency in the Supramental world?
There will be no currency in the New Creation and there will be no need for it. One will get what is needed and as much as is needed. It will be a kind of Divine Commune if you like. The world is yet very far from realising it. In the Ashram and Auroville there is, in principle, no money involved within the community. One uses money only in dealings with the outside world, which runs on the fuel of desire and hence money is used for buying the objects one desires.
