AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Sir, my question to you was why is Mother not helping and protecting us from these issues. I only get sleep because of medication, which is not a good thing in the long run. When Mother knows about our problems, why isn’t she guiding us and helping us get out of them?🛡️🪽😔✨

My mind is lost and I don’t understand what to do, how to do it, and when. My right hand isn’t working properly. What methods, books, meditations, or prayers are available at Sri Aurobindo Ashram to help us get out of our problems? Is black magic and possession real??How to get rid of all negative energies, constant negative thoughts, and negative entities from the house. Sir plzz tell me a lot, I have no clue and not able to do my studies properly.

Why do you presume that the Divine Mother is not helping you? But there is something that we have to do to fully receive the help. This is necessary because otherwise we will be like robots that the Divine moves according to His wishes. That would not be a real world but a toy game. Our evolution demands active collaboration from our side. It means that we grow conscious through every challenge and thus slowly grow into the likeness of the Divine Himself.

Our task is to rectify wrong thoughts, wrong attitudes, wrong feelings. The work of the Divine Mother is to help us grow beyond the human towards the Divine possibility in us. For example, if you keep believing in black magic then you give it strength. On the other hand if you put your faith in the Divine then you will feel the Grace and the Protection. Faith is the key. Whatever you believe in, even if it be an illness you tend to grow into that.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

I read this little passage from The Mother. I want to know whether Sri Aurobindo is talking about Radha or the Hladini Shakti here. If not, who is the Power of the Mother mentioned here?: 📖😊🙏🏻🌄🌼[…]

Fortunately this question was asked to Sri Aurobindo though in different words. We have a clear, concise and complete answer from him on this issue. The letter is as quoted below.

‘In the Chandi the names of the four Cosmic Powers of the Mother—Maheshwari, Mahakali, Mahalakshmi, Mahasaraswati—are mentioned along with others, but the name Radha is not mentioned. This is a clear proof of the fact that when the Chandi was composed the Radha-Power was not manifested to the vision of the saints and that the Chandi mentions…

Today I had a remarkable dream. I felt that something profoundly spiritual had happened to India. It seemed that Mother India, the Divine Feminine Power, had become firmly established in the nation, and that a deep realization had awakened in the collective consciousness of the country. 🗺️😊🙏🏻🪷🌄[…]

This is not just a dream but a dream vision. It is true to the details. Yes, Mother India is rising to reclaim Her Glory and redeem the world. The other woman is clearly the anti-divine forces whose time has come. They are angry at the rise of India’s glory and know …

In her prayer of May 17, 1914, Mother writes, “One day thou wilt be my head but for the moment turn thy gaze towards the earth.” When a disciple enquired what the phrase “thou wilt be my head” means, She answered that “The head is the original conceiving Consciousness. “Could you simplify the meaning of all this a little further for me? 📖😊🙏🏻🌼

Head is the hub that conceives whereas heart is the hub that impels towards action.

What the Mother seems to be experiencing here, in this prayer, is to withdraw from everything including all action. She wants to be completely one with the pure Consciousness in its origin. But the command for her is…
