These are moments when a door suddenly opens within us, and we feel the touch or call from the Divine. There is a sudden downpour of Peace or Joy or a luminous inspiration or silence. During these moments that come unexpectedly we should quietly turn within and open ourselves to these divine gifts. But we remain busy with all the usual round of life in the rush and flow of desires or simply the mechanical round of life, and loose the opportunity.
There are even more profound moments that come as a clear call from the Divine. There is an unexpected opening, a surge of inner aspiration, a sacred divine surge or Godward feelings, a will to serve the Divine. But the physical mind comes in with its doubts and apprehensions and one turns back from the Call and loses the path and misses the goal. He returns back to the usual humdrum of life and only occasionally remembers the moment that had the potential to change one’s life completely. It is actually like missing a turn that could have changed one’s destiny.
