Vigyan Bhairava tantra is more like a compilation of techniques of yoga taken from different systems. To appeal to the readers it is presented in the form of a dialogue between Bhairava, a form of Shiva, and Bhairavi, a form of Parvati. I am not sure it can lead one to the realisation of the soul or of the Divine Presence within. What it does help is in quietening the mind and the vital by using every energy, every movement of nature consciously with an eye on the Self that lies within everything.
