AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Sometimes I feel that something higher and vast is trying to touch and enter not only my mind but also my physical brain. Yet I feel that the brain is not ready for it. It is still too narrow and rigid, not sufficiently supple or plastic. It feels as though the higher consciousness is waiting for the right moment. 🧠✨🙏🏻 […]

The main indication for this feeling is that whenever I think, reflect, or intellectually engage with something related to the Spirit or the Divine, I often experience a distinct pleasantness or subtle joy in the brain itself. I have had glimpses of this spiritual influence touching the mind in different ways, but I feel that the physical organ itself is still waiting for that deeper Divine touch. I am only describing what I experience and am not sure whether I am interpreting it correctly. I would be grateful for your valuable insights.

It is quite possible what you say. The simplest way to prepare the brain is by reading Sri Aurobindo. Similarly, the simplest way to prepare the heart and awaken the soul is reading and meditating upon Prayers and Meditations as well as Savitri.

Apart from that, one should concentrate above the head and enter into a state of wideness taking help of images.

Sri Aurobindo’s Gayatri mantra also helps in preparing the mind to receive the Light.

However, the swiftest and safest way is to give oneself to the Divine Mother through work and service.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
