AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

The ideal of forgiveness, a story by Sri Aurobindo, has many things like earth sinking downwards, remembering Vashishtha deva for a moment which gives Vishwamitra the strength for holding the earth🤨

The story means that it is possible to rise so high in one’s consciousness, as the sage Vasistha, that our mere presence helps the earth to bear her burden without sinking or collapsing. These sages had removed from them all egoistic feelings and lived only for the good of the world. Even a brief moment with them is uplifting, more than the merit of good deeds or penance. Such sages lived once in India and are coming again to bring back her glory and greatness.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
