There is one God with many aspects. It is these aspects that are called as Gods. So if one worships the One God, the Supreme Being from whom all other Gods have emerged then there is no need to worship any other. One can wirship the Supreme Being through one of Its Incarnations or see the Supreme in one’s Guru.
Still if one wants to worship the Gods then one should worship the God towards whom the heart feels naturally drawn. Worship is a matter of the heart and hence cannot be decided mentally. So one should worship the God towards whom one naturally feels drawn.
