AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

What is an element? Why and when does a thing become an element? What does it need to become an element, specifically like Faith, Prana, Soul, etc.? 🔥💧🪐❤️‍🔥

An Element, in spiritual terms, refers to the five basic forces or energies that constitute everything, from the stone to the gods.

I don’t see what the meaning of ‘becoming an element’ is. Elements are creations of Nature, the primal forces that knit all creation, like the force of gravity that provides solidity and stability (earth), the force of attraction and repulsion (water), the force of movement (air), the force that purifies and uplifts (fire) and the force of endless expansion (space). Generally, human nature contains one or the other element predominantly. But all the other elements are also needed to build any form. One may identify with one or the other element or increase its energies by certain diets, activities, temperament, etc. But all are needed to operate in a balanced way. The whole Science of Ayurveda is based on the balance of these elemental energies, or dhatus, as it is called.

Affectionately,
