In recent times, many commercial services advertise performing these rites on one’s behalf for a fee. Does outsourcing such ceremonies hold any genuine spiritual value, or is remembrance of our ancestors meant to be lived and experienced differently?
Different people say different things about the problems that human beings face. In fact, who is there who does not have any problems? Fights, quarrels, unhappiness have to do with human egos. To appease the stars for getting rid of the problems is like trying to solve the local issues by writing and appealing to the central cabinet ministers. My advice is don’t waste your time and money on these things. Instead, turn to the Divine, to Sri Krishna with a simple heart seeking for help. At the same do some work that will earn you honest livelihood and take care of your basic needs. For the rest, such as family quarrels try to change the attitudes and invoke inner Peace through a mantra or very simply Japa of OM. Nothing else is needed.
