How the inner states gets through changes in this journey of a child? It may be different from child to child, but you can explain it much better. The rhythm with which journey of psychic being along side The Mother happens can be included. I am totally now clueless about The Mother. The more I am listening the talk and reading about her, I feel as if I know nothing at all about a percentage about her. Though I am calling her as The Mother, but as soon as i start imagining her, I am lost in space . That’s why her name and photo are only means to feel her. But I want to hear from you about that Mother who is omnipresent near the psychic being or may be she is the psychic being herself. Please explain about That Mother whom I can get connected even without eye or ear. That omnipresent Mother who only exists in her children. I hope I am able to present my feelings properly in words.Β
Kindly have a talk on that topic ” The Mother’s journey with psychic being and our ego consciousness”.
I will take up this subject either as a talk or a write up. But yes it is a unique relation with each one. The reason for this is very simply that we each have our unique past behind us carried as the knots of karma, unique traits, tendencies and temperament in the present, and an equally unique future in terms of the Divine Work and the Divine Quality we are predestined to express under the conditions of Time and Space.
Very broadly there are three main stages in our relation with The Mother. In the beginning there is an initiating contact and a vague recognition. The ego-self has to put in effort to grow and progress Godwards through the main means of aspiration, rejection, surrender and other means such as meditation, reading, Naam Japa, meditation with the Mother’s music and upon Her photograph, nishkama karma, equanimity etc. During this phase the sadhak understands very little, often misunderstands the Divine Intention, misreads the inner promptings. Yet through it all he feels a Divine Hand supporting him in the journey.
In the next stage, the sadhana goes deeper. He feels the inner contact as well as loses it. There are surges of aspiration and sinking due to hidden resistances such as doubt etc. It is an inner battle that one goes through.
Finally the inner fields begin to grow clear. Basic purification is over, the Divine Presence is felt permanently and the journey becomes more and more effortless and smooth.
Time for each phase depends upon the egocentricity in nature and the desire-self. If the psychic comes in the front early on and the mind is ready, if the heart is full of devotion and faith then the journey becomes considerably easier and shorter.
Affectionately,
Alok Da
