Mohammad does not fit into the scheme of Avatars. He did not bring anything new into the world and his system seems to be an Arabic version of the dwait school of the Vedantic philosophical system. His efforts at trying to civilise and reform the barbaric tribes of the Middle East and unifying them under one umbrella is more like the work of a Vibhuti with forceful action in the desert kingdoms. He was some kind of a yogi who had mystic experiences which seems to have been largely of the Intermediate Zone though with flashes of a higher force working through him. However, as happened with most such movements that took shape outside the Indian soil, it did not thrive beyond a limited point of time. Its teachings got distorted in the absence of fresh revelations and slowly the whole reform movement that started on a religio-ethical basis degenerated into fixed dogmatic beliefs and a tyrannous socio-political ideology where the throne of God vacant of genuine religious fervour was occupied by the dark Asuric forces of falsehood engulfing one nation after another in its fold. Its tremors continued to rock the world and fill it with terror and pain. There is indeed very little if any of authentic spiritual force left in Islam now. Whatever was there was slain with the sword that killed the Sufis. As to Kalki Avatar I have delivered a couple of talks on this subject which are available on AuroMaa website and YouTube channel.
