In the pure Adwaitic sense, they are one but not necessarily the same. All is the One Reality, but covered with Ignorance. That is why there is differentiation and not sameness. All colours of the spectrum are one parent white, but blue and white and red are not the same. When we realise that One, then there is no question to ask. Question implies a state of ignorance. Hence, we can say that the questionnaire is the Divine covered with the mask of Ignorance. The question is a seeking in the state of ignorance. It is an expression of the questionnaire, but the questionnaire is not only the question, but many more things besides.
The answering consciousness also varies depending upon the one through whom the answer is getting filtered.
