Better to be a living example than a role model. There is a difference between these two concepts. A role model is something external, but someone who lives by truth, even when it is unseen, has a subtle, unseen influence that radiates from the way they live their life. Even if you don’t say anything, it just naturally percolates into the children.

It is a choice each one must make and go through the consequences. The Divine knows everything. What we think or feel about others is not important. Truth alone counts and it is only the Divine who knows it.
First thing first. It is to stop using any label to define or describe yourself. Each one has his or her own unique difficulties and challenges. You have yours. These challenges have to be dealt, each in their own way. For example if concentration and motivation is a challenge then one has find ways and means to augment.
