AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Sir, my right hand is getting writing cramp while writing bahut ghasit ghasit k likhna padta hai don’t know what has happened. Whom to pray? how to pray? Also concepts retain nahi ho raha hai while studying becoz of depression. Plzz help me out in this situation. I am clueless 📖✍️🌫️☁️

I can only speak of generalities because i don’t undertake personal guidance or counselling. What I can say is that wanting to get rid of depression is a negative way of looking at it. It doesn’t work. What is needed is to want to know the real, the root cause of your depression and then sincerely try to remove it. Depression is after all a symptom and the symptom can be removed by medication. But one has to discover the root cause and remove it, for example some frustration, some egoism or vanity, some feelings of inferiority, some unresolved conflicts, fears etc. One has to sincerely look into oneself and address them. Else the tendency remains. Gods can help us grow conscious of the inner difficulty or even join in our effort to remove it. But it is not a magic that a prayer or pooja will cure everything.

Most important is to first find your goal. Instead of focusing upon depression, focus upon the goal of your life. Depression will be automatically put in its own little place and disappear as there will be no time to think about oneself.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
