Vividness and clarity indicate that they are of the nature of visions. There are no general rules about the planes except that the closer the plane to the earth, the vital worlds, for example, the more likely the resemblance of forms here. Others are clearly symbolic, whereas dreams that are chaotic and dark possibly come from things buried in the subconscious.
