There is a perception that I hold strongly that the Divine has a face like I have a Krishna idol and then I feel like okay one day when I’m ready and I will see Krishna it’ll be human form. And then when I’m in a difficulty I have this feeling that Krishna is there will only happen when he appears as with the flute and the beautiful yellow dress. Same with The Mother, like if I see as in the photos then only she is near me. But am I not limiting myself by this and putting a barrier between us. What should be the right way to move forward dada?🦚🪈🪷🐄

Images are always representations and approximations. Photographs are slightly different, in a way better because they caary the subtle vibrations of the person. The images of gods are also charged by the collective faith of the devotees and the consciousness of the person who conceived it. But yes, the actual form exceeds any human representation of it. Yet the mind needs some concrete image, a form it can behold. If it concentrates on the form with faith and aspiration then, after a while the person goes behind the form and gets in touch with the consciousness of the Deity or god one worships and concentrates upon. That is how one has to see it as two sides of one truth rather than either or.
