AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

It feels like thoughts come randomly and my mind seems to grab them naturally as its own and gets itself distracted regularly. How do you prevent this from happening?? How do you protect your mind from the influx of thoughts that exist around you.β›°οΈπŸ§—πŸŒŠβ›ˆοΈ

The first step is to adopt the witness attitude. By merely witnessing the thoughts and feelings and impulses, without judging them, neither sanctioning nor censoring them, they slowly lose their force and become less and less.

By directing the thoughts through reading, listening or thinking of the Divine we begin to automatically program them to tune in to the Divine Forces and thoughts that become vehicles of a higher consciousness.

Finally by concentrating on the heart on the Mother’s Presence the mind not nourished by excess attention begins to fall quiet automatically, especially as it comes in contact with the Divine Presence.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
