Philosophical reason why Krishna allows even His great devotees like Arjuna to be momentarily bewildered by Mahamaya?🪈🦚🏹🐎☀️

Arjun was overcome by Sri Krishna’s Vaishnavi Maya because he was called upon to execute Sri Krishna’s Will which at that moment was for the destruction of a civilisation built on the ego. Arjun, though a mighty warrior had a soft and tender heart. He would not easily agree to fight against his cousins, teacher and loved grandsire even if they did much wrong to him. Sri Krishna knew that this emotional  weakness can come up anytime in him during the war. That would have been disastrous. Hence it was brought out before the war started and was cleared through the discourse of the Gita.

As to Sri Krishna, he cannot be tied to any system or philosophical scheme of human thought. He is a law unto himself and acts according to the need of the moment for the fulfilment of his cosmic purpose.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
